Vadodara: During his future, Pinal Shah dreamed of dreaming of a goal for India.
Although the former Cricketer Baroda could not fulfill his dream, he wanted to make sure that he produced a quality kerecondeketek which would take place to play for India.
Shah, who recently hung his boots, has taken over as chairman of the Junior Selection Committee of the Cricket Baroda Association (BCA).
And, he immediately went down to business.
“We have a inheritance of producing qualified goalkeeps from Baroda.
Kiran More and Nayan Mongia kept Wicket for the Indian team for a long time and they contributed with bats too.
I want to revive the heritage and ensure that we produce quality clans,” Shah, Who was a wicketkeeper-batsman, told toi.
He has also become the captain of the Baroda team.
“My work as a voter is to identify good Cricketers and give them enough opportunities.
It is important that talented players get the opportunity to do,” Shah added.
He was in talks with BCA for the past few weeks after the management offered him the work of the Chair of the Junior Electoral Committee.
Shah, who is a member of the U-19 World Cup squad, played 93 first-class matches in his 16-year-old career.
He scored 3,409 runs including double centuries.
He took 278 catches behind the goal and had 38 arrears his name.
Shah has also played 54 T20 matches and scored 471 Run.
Impressed with his appearance, the Mumbai Indian team picked him up for the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008.
