Watchful MADC Hopes Patanjali Start the Mihan Unit at the end

Nagpur: After asking Patanjali Ayurved to start production at the food processing plant proposed in Mihan in the deadline, the Development Company of Maharashtra Airport (MADC) keeps a watch close to the location.
Given the development so far, the factory is expected to be able to start production at the end of December.
The MADC team visits the site every week and photographs developments as part of the project review.
Lately, the company also carries a pre-cooling machine at the factory.
Raw materials that include fruits and other agricultural products will be preserved in the machine.
The cooling machine is one of the core plant equipment.
“After the engine is installed, it can be expected that the project can finally begin on December 31 as previously guaranteed,” said Deepak Kapoor, Deputy Chair and Managing Director of MADC.
The company will now start with products made after processing local orange besides flour, toothpaste and other items.
“They also agreed to hire local workers at the factory,” Kapoor said.
MADC has allocated 2.5 hectares of land to other food processing companies, Cosgrow Agro Med in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
The company is expected to be able to use raw materials obtained from the region and make 100 direct and indirect employment jobs clubbed, said press release issued by MADC.
In other developments, Anjani Logistics, a company from Nagpur, has emerged the largest bidder that offers RS6.001 per square meter for the four acre land parcels in Mihan.
Three bidders in all have taken part in the auction process.
Sales will go around RS10 Crore for MADC.
Anjani Logistics previously appeared as a bidder to establish a hospital in Mihan.
The idea is to create more facilities in Mihan so it develops as a city in the city.
The plot will have a housing and commercial unit both.
After the facility appears, it is expected to attract more investment in the area.

MADC, which is the state government institution, is the developer of the Mihan project which includes SEZ and the area of ​​domestic tariffs (DTA).
Patanjali has acquired more than 200 hectares of land in DTA through the offer process in 2016.

Patanjali has a plan to come up with the largest food processing zone in the world in Nagpur.
When the delay continues, MADC has set a deadline for Patajali to start the project on December 31.
