Vadodara: Water is released from the Kadana Reservoir in the Mahisagar District when water crosses the regulatory level.
Reservoir on the Mahi River witnessed a stable flow of water due to rain in the catchment area.
On Monday afternoon, the water level in the reservoir was at 417.2ft which was above the level of rules of 416ft.
The dam received around 41,000 cusec water which requires water release.
The danger level of the dam is 419ft where it overflows.
The source said that there was no significant rainfall in the middle Gujarat on Monday.
Most districts have received significant rainfall on Sundays.
Water must be released from Dam Rami in the Chhota udepur district in the region.
