New Delhi: India on Thursday said it had taken with China a torture problem of a teenager from Arunachal Pradesh when he was in detention of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA).
“We have taken problems with the Chinese side,” Arindam Bagchi, an external ministry spokesman told the media briefing.
He answered questions about this problem.
Miram Taron, 17, allegedly kidnapped by the Chinese army on January 18 from the Lungta Jor area near the actual control line at Arunachal Pradesh when he was on his hunting trip with his friend Johny Yaying.
Yaying managed to escape from the scene and reported this problem to the authorities.
The Chinese army handed over Siram to the Indian Army on January 27 at the interaction point of Wacha-Damai in Kibithu in the Anjaw district.
Father Miram Opang Taron said his son was tied and blindfolded while in Place detention and he was kicked and given an electric shock.
Asked about the allegations of the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Parliament on Wednesday that the Modi Government brought Pakistan and China together, Bagchi refused to comment on the Minister of External Affairs Jaisankar had reacted to them.

He has issued a series of tweets after discussion in parliament.
I have nothing to add,” Bagchi said.
Following Gandhi’s comments, Jaishankar said he needed some “historical lessons”.

China built the Karakoram highway through Pok in the 1970s,” Jaisankar Tweeted.
He said from the 1970s, the two countries have also closed nuclear collaboration.
“In 2013, the China-Pakistani economic corridor began.
So, ask yourself: Is China and Pakistan remotely?” He asked the Congress leader.
