Weekend curfew to continue in DK

Mangaluru: according to the revised order with an extension of the guidelines issued by the government on Monday, weekend hours will continue in the district of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.
However, students are allowed to attend examinations during weekend meals that comply with applicable guidelines.
Hall tickets will function as identity (pass) for the purpose of movement.
All students from Kerala can enter the Kannada Dakshina with RT-PCR negative reports that are no more than 72 hours and they will be subject to a mandatory institutional quarantine for seven days and in the end they have to undergo another test.
The same guidelines will apply to all employees, who are employed in Karnataka and arrive from Kerala or have visited Kerala within seven days before entering Karnataka, said Tushar Giri Nath, the principal secretary of income.

Deputy Commissioner KV Rajendra said the district had a level of iPositu 2.27% and there were 29 detention zones and 28 micro detention zones.
The district has tested 77,888 RT-PCR between August 23 and 29, he said.
