Kolkata: For the first time since the Covid-19 outbreak, the West Bengal government on Monday allowed the reopening of the school for the primary and upper primary class from February 16 after improvement in the pandemic situation, the official command word.
Physical class for the bottom will begin again after a two-year gap with strict compliance with the standard operating procedure (SOP) issued by the Department of School Education.
Offline class for senior students has continued.
Expanding ongoing locking restrictions until February 28, the state government said that all ICDS centers will also be opened on the same day.
The limitation of the night on the movement of people and vehicles, besides the meeting, has been reduced by one hour.
Now it will apply from midnight until 5am, the order is added.
