Vadodara: Western Railway (WR) will develop Pratapnagar train stations in the city, said general manager, Alok Kansal on Friday.
Kansal is in Vadodara for the annual inspection of the railroad between Vadodara and a letter.
“We have received proposals from Vadodara Railway Division to develop Pratapnagar train stations and we will develop it with additional facilities for passengers,” he told media people.
On the question of continuing the general coach on the train, Kansal said that currently in accordance with the existing Covid-19 guidelines, only the coach ordered can be run.
However, he added that for the monthly season ticket holders, 60 pairs of trains are currently run by WR.
He added that 100% of train movements such as the pre-covid era have been restored.
During the day, Kansal visited the Kosamba train station where Madhubani’s painting was shown.
He also inaugurated a newly developed park near the train station.
He visited Ankleshwar, Bharuch and other train stations where a series of facilities added.
In Bharuch, a children’s park has been renovated, a waste treatment plant has been set while the steps for energy conservation have been taken by trains.
The speed test between Nabipur and Makarpura is also carried out in His presence.
