WhatsApp Meta reportedly tested new features that could provide more authority to the Admin group of chat groups.
According to a report in Developer XDA, the upcoming feature will allow the group admin to remove messages for everyone in the group.
At present, WhatsApp allows users in groups to individually delete their own chat messages, admin cannot delete messages sent by other members in the group.
However, they can delete members from the group, take the right of other members to send messages in the group by changing the group settings only to the admin.
This step seems to be aimed at giving more control to the admin WhatsApp group for the contents of their group.
This can help them ensure that all group members follow the decorum and follow the goals that have been made by the group.
WhatsApp will notify group members that the message / media is “removed by the admin” if the admin deletes the message / message.
It will also display who deletes the message (if there is more than one admin in the group).
This report also adds that this feature is currently in testing and development.
Also there is no time frame available at that time can start multiplying.
As usual, this feature will first release on beta WhatsApp before making it available for general users.
WhatsApp recently added new controls for missing messaging features.
When the user now activates the missing message, they can set the message to disappear 24 hours, 7 days, or 90 days after the time is sent.
The latest choice only controls new messages in chat.
This setting does not affect the message sent or received earlier in chat.
In individual chat, users can turn on or turn off messages that disappear.
In group chat, each group participant can turn on or turn off the message.
However, the group admin can change the group settings to only allow the admin to turn on or turn off missing messages.
