Whatsapp reportedly launched end-to-end encryption to the WHATSAPP chat reserve on iOS.
WhatsApp is working on this feature for some time and the same thing is now released on WhatsApp Beta for iOS.
According to Report by Wabetainfo, end-to-end encryption for backup chatting is being released for specific beta iOS testers today for WhatsApp Messenger and Business Beta.
If you are a beta tester, you can check whether it is available on your device or not by visiting WhatsApp settings> Chat> Reserve Chat> encrypted backup end to tip.
When using an encrypted chat backup WhatsApp ensures that you turn off the device for the WhatsApp application.
This is important, otherwise the chat that will be reserved on your iPhone will not be encrypted.
To do this, open Settings> Your name> iCloud> Manage Storage> Backup> Disable WhatsApp.
Also, it is important to remember that when using the encrypted chat backup you need to remember the password to decrypt your reserve chat.
You must choose a password that will be used to encrypt the backup in the future.
Passwords will be needed when you restore backup.
This can contain numerical numbers and lowercase letters between ‘A’ and ‘F’.
If you forget the password, it is not possible for chat reserves to be decrypted.
WhatsApp Chats to get a new ‘display’ in iPhoneWhatsapp previously launched an encrypted chat reserve on Android for beta users.
After the features are available for iOS beta users, we can expect whatsapp to launch the same for all users immediately.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp recently launched support for users to move their history of whatsapp from iOS to Android.
Until now, support for this feature has been activated for Samsung branded Android devices running Android 10 or higher.
However, WhatsApp has announced that the same thing will be available for other Android phone users too.
