WhatsApp is reported to work on community features for the application and it looks like the feature will be linked to the group.
According to the report about Xdadel’s inaction, the addition of strings in the latest beta v2.21.21.6 WhatsApp, comes with several new strings that point to features called ‘community’.
String shows that technology giants are working on something new.
Most strings related to the community have ‘parent_group’ as part of a string id that makes it look like a part of existing group features.
When you look carefully at the string, you will see that the new addition is next to the group feature string, indicating that both features can coexist.
The company has not officially revealed anything about new features but some reports suggest that it may only change the name.
Apart from WhatsApp also said to work on several other new features.
According to a report by Wabetainfo, this platform works on a new notebook feature that allows you to stop and continue to record voice notes without the need to record other messages or send you must interrupt.
Until now, you can only listen to the voicemail you record before sending it.
It is unclear when new features will be launched to all users because it is not even available for public beta testers until now but according to the feature report will be available on iOS and Android devices in future beta updates.
The company also recently released new features called messages that disappeared.
After activating, new messages sent to individual chat or groups will disappear after 24 hours, 7 days or 90 days.
This setting will not affect the message that you previously sent or received in the chat.
