WhatsApp reportedly worked on a new interface for voice calls.
According to a report by Wabetainfo, after introducing the possibility to join the call after it began, Facebook’s platform plans to redesign the interface that the user sees during the call.
Wabetainfo has also shared a screenshot of the new interface as seen on the Apple iPhone.
This report emphasizes that although screenshots are taken through WhatsApp on iOS, the new design will also be included in the WhatsApp application for Android devices.
As per image shared in the report, with a new design, the voice call interface on the platform will look compact and more organized.
This new design is reported to look neater during group voice calls.
Although the redesigned interface will not add new features, it will provide a modern theme to the application.
Until now, the company has not revealed any plans mentioned in the report, but it is hoped that we will immediately see the redesign in the coming beta update.
The company also reportedly worked to redesign the camera in the application on an Android smartphone.
According to Wabetainfo, the camera in-App WhatsApp will get a new interface along with the flash button and a redesigned camera switch.
This report also shows that with new design users will be able to open the latest media by tapping the lower left corner.
According to the image shared in the report, with a new design, the camera in the application on the platform will look very similar to the look on the Apple iPhone.
The flash button will be moved to the upper right corner, the image suggests.
Images also indicate that the company can discard features that allow users to swipe to access the gallery.
At present, on an Android smartphone, the flash button is placed in the lower left corner of the screen and the camera switch button is placed on the bottom right of the screen.
