WhatsApp users on the PC will probably see a new footer in the chat.
According to Report by Wabetainfo, Facebook’s platform is planning a new footer that shows that the message you send or receive is end-to-end encrypted.
References for future footers have been found in the latest updates to desktop clients.
Updates carry versions up to 2,2206.1.
Similar footers that mention the end-to-end encryption offered by the company are available on iOS and Android devices.
In accordance with the screens that are shared by WabetainFO, the new footer will be seen at the end of your chat list, indicating that your message is encrypted final.
Because indicators are currently being developed, it is not yet available to users.
It is hoped that the new indicator will be seen by the user in the upcoming update.
For those who do not know, end-to-end or e2ee encryption is a privacy feature that ensures that only you and people you communicate can read or listen to what is sent, and none of them, there are even no companies.
Simply put, your data is secured with the key, and only the receiver and you have a special key needed to unlock and read it.
WhatsApp also reported to add dark themes to the platform with the latest beta updates for UWP applications.
According to the screen that is shared by WabetainFO, if you use a dark theme on Windows, the application will automatically set the theme to the dark.
If the user wants to change the theme, they can do this by going to WhatsApp> General settings.
It should be noted that changes will only apply after the application begins again.
