Geneva: The World Health Organization Vaccine Adviser Panel recommends people who immunocompromised or receive an inactive vaccine must receive a booster dose of Covid-19 shots, head panel said on Thursday.
The recommendation emerged after the strategic consultation group of experts (SAGE) on immunization held a meeting on Tuesday to evaluate the need for Booster Covid-19.
Speaking in a briefing, Alejandro Cravioto’s wise chair said that the data that appeared showed that the efficacy of the vaccine against Covid-19 Wanes, with a significant decline seen in parents in particular.
