Geneva: About 3.2 million children are expected to suffer from acute malnutrition in Afghanistan by the end of this year, with 1 million of them at risk of death, a spokesman for the World Health Organization on Friday.
“This is a climbing battle because of hunger holding the country,” Margaret Harris told Journalists based in Geneva by telephone from the capital of Kabul.
“The world may not and cannot be able to reverse it to Afghanistan.”
