Gurugram: Public rallies by UNI Minister Rao Inderdit Singh on Thursday to mark the martyrdom of Rao Tula Ram in Pataduda in Jhajjar will be watched by interest in state politics, especially BJP, because the regional power equation he carries.
Rally at Bastion JAT is seen as a power show by Inderdit, MP five times from Gurugram and the most influential among politicians in the Ahirwal area of Haryana Selatan.
After ‘Jan Asirwad Yatra’ recently by the new Union Minister Bhupender Yadav in Ahirwal belt, there was speculation that the party was trying to induce Yadav leaders as balancing to the South Haryana Electoral District which was dominated by AHIR.
Inderdit supporters, including Minister of Banwari Lal and Om Prakash Yadav, have worked to mobilize large meetings in the rally.
Asked about the rally, Inderdit told Toi, “The purpose of this rally is purely to recognize the contribution of Rao Tula Ram and those who achieve martyrs for the country.” Pataduda Village is in Badli, which is the constituency of the Head of the Dhankar Haryana BJP.
Dhankar, according to the source, is likely to attend a rally.
Bhiwani-Mahendragarh MP Dharambir, Rohtak MP Arvind Sharma, Sonipat MP Ramesh Chander Kaushik, Rajya Sabha MP DP Vats and Mlaas Sitaram Yadav (ATLI), Laxman Singh Yadav (KosLi), Sudhir Singhla (Sanjay Singh (Sohna) are also likely to be present.
A senior BJP official said, “This is clearly an attempt by Rao Inderdit to fight the visit of Bhupender Yadav recently, which has stirred politics Haryana Selatan”.
BJP members close to Inderdit added, “Those who underestimate Rao Inderjit must be aware of the relationship at Gurugram, Bhiwani-Mahendragarh and Rohtak Lok Sabha’s parliamentary constituency.
“Inderdit, the son of the former Haryana CM Rao Birender Singh, has stopped the Congress and joined BJP in the 2014 parliamentary election.
