Margao: Chief of the Minister of Pramod Sawant on Tuesday said that the question of whether Wilfred aka Babashan D’SA will compete in BJP tickets is a problem about where Nuvem Mla himself must call.
Responding to the query put on him in the presence of D’Sa after inaugurating the traffic signal in Nuvem, Sawant said, “Babashan had to make a decision about it.
If he wants to compete on BJP tickets, he must express his desire before the party’s leadership.” D’sa is Among the 10 congressional legislators who had turned to BJP in July 2019.
Almost all lazy, MLA said that they had joined BJP for the purpose of their constituency “development”, something they taste impossible by living in opposition.
BJP has a neglected presence in Nuvem.
D’SA also previously said that most of his supporters insisted that he competed as independent in polls 2022 even though he had not made a decision in that matter.
“Babashan has joined BJP with the aim of bringing development in the constituency of Nuvem.
The aim will be fulfilled immediately because all development work (proposed) in this constituency will be finished soon.
Before December 19, all development work in Nuvem will be completed,” Sawant said.
