Greater Noida: Farmers from six village values decided to oppose their approval for land acquisition for the second phase of the Noida Airport project unless the government meets all their demands.
A group of villagers held Panchayat in Ranthera and made a decision, said the social impact assessment report agreed by the government did not include many of their demands.
Sources said the district government might call farmers who were harmed for the meeting on their demands next week.
The deadlock between the two parties can delay the work of acquisition a few months because the administration needs to receive approval from at least 70% of farmers to start training.
Panchayat, which was held on Sunday, was led by Kunwar Pal Singh, a member of the Assessment Committee appointed by the Government.
“The government’s commandment of SIA report mentions only a few of our concerns.
The government should consult with us before choosing a site for family rehabilitation.
It also has to build schools, hospitals, temples, mosques, illness, cremation centers and other basic facilities before expeling the family,” Add it.
Among other demands that the villagers want to be fulfilled is compensation four times four times at the pace of the applicable circle, road maps for the development of children’s skills and the same rights for unmarried women from every family.
Dharmendra Siwach from Karauli Bangar, another member of the Assessment Committee, said, “We will not move unless the administration offers us the same plot as there.
We also need a separate room to tie our animals.
They are like our extended family and cannot be abandoned.
All of these provisions are not carried out in the first phase.
“Officials said they would see demands.
“Two points have been mentioned in the government’s command.
The rest will be considered.
The benefits of compensation or rehabilitation, such as the same size plot, cannot be decided at this stage.
We will ask villagers to consider all factors before making a decision,” said Balram Singh, Judge Additional district (acquisition of land).
The administration will establish a camp to receive farmer approval from January 7 according to the SIA report, a minimum of 1,365 hectares will be needed to build the airport’s second phase.
Of the total land, 1,186 hectares must be obtained from Mundhera, Birampur, Kureb, Ranhera, Kariauli Bangar and Delayanatpur.
