With cases of dengue fever close to 600, steps cheated for trips throughout the month

Ghaziabad: With Dengue cases it will touch 600 marks, the Ministry of Health on Thursday is called a meeting with officials to map the next step.
Officials say that the campaign for the month of the disease transmitted through vectors will also start from Monday.
Meanwhile, with more than 60 cases recorded from several Muradnagar villages, it has emerged as a group of bloody fever cases in this district.
Officials said they had mobilized the medical team in the main health centers of the regions that conduct camps and identified dengue and malaria fever patients.
Fogging and anti-larval activities also occur, they add.
A total of 14 new cases were reported on Thursday, taking the total number of cases to 561.
Official data revealed that 249 cases had been reported in October alone.
Especially from 561 patients, 361 needed hospitalization.
Overall, 1,870 people were tested for dengue fever.
There are also 16 malaria cases and 39 cases of typhus scrubs in Ghaziabad.
Even though Thursday became a holiday, the Head of Medical Officer Dr.
Bhavtosh Shanthhdhar reviewed the situation of dengue fever in the district with health officials.
He said various steps were discussed at a meeting to curb the spread of further infection.
“In addition, officials assigned tasks for the upcoming one-month infectious disease control campaign.
We will collaborate with the school and housing welfare associations in this drive.
A survey has been planned in all districts from October 18,” CMO added.
As far as Muradnagar, Dr.
Shankehdhar said that the five-day survey had occurred in nine villages in the Muradnagar area.
So far, patient fever is being identified and is being sent to health centers for examination and care.
Dr.
RK Gupta District Supervision Officer told that two additional lab technicians had been appointed in all primary health centers in the Muradnagar area so that people did not face discomfort in getting a dengue test.
Medical camps are also being arranged in the area, where fever patients are examined.
Surveillance has also increased in the area, he added.
