Palanpur: Fed up with all the requirements of dowry, a 27-year-old girl has lodged a police complaint against her spouse and also in-laws for metal and harassment torture.
The complainant, Archana Vaghela, asserted she was harassed for not organizing Rs 5 lakh from her parents that her husband may purchase a vehicle.
Archana, who hails from Kukarwada village at Patan district, wed Sandipsinh Jadeja 2 decades back.
The couple as well as other relatives were living at Krishna Park at Madhapar region of Bhuj.
In her criticism Archana has said that she had been exposed to harassment with her husband and also in-laws over trivial issues.
On Friday, her father-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law and husband not just beat up her but also drove her out of the home, Archana said in her criticism.
Her in-laws were bothering her and frequently asked her to deliver Rs 5 lakhs out of her parents to get sale of an auto.
Archana within her criticism demanded necessary actions under IPC sections 498, 323, 504 and 114 to be obtained against her husband and also in-laws.
