Vadodara: A 42-year-old woman lost her life in a sloth bear attack in the Kisaran Bara Sagtada on Friday afternoon.
Sanjali Rathwa, a resident of Amlipani Village in Devgadh Baria Taluka from Dahod, has gone to the forest to graze his livestock.
Suddenly the Bear Sloth attacked and pushed it to the ground.
Before he could react, it had hurt the woman in his throat, head and face killed him in place.
“During this season, the baby’s sloth was still young and so the bear mother became aggressive.
The woman might unconsciously wander near the baby who made a aggressive bear,” said R M Parmar, Division Forest Officer (DFO), Devgadh Baria.
