Vadodara: Just talking to members of the rival family which resulted in a brutal public whip of a woman in Dahod District Village.
The video of the brutality that became viral on social media on Monday, forced the police to act.
On late at night, the police arrested four people for the incident that took place in the village of Sagdapada Fatehpura Taluka in the district dominated by the tribe.
The woman was beaten in front of her house on the side of the road and was dragged across the street.
On Monday night it himself, the police identified the woman and contacted him.
It was revealed that the woman, Maki Makla Valvai, was beaten when she used to talk to a woman from a rival family.
He has registered a violation of his relatives in this matter.
The woman stated that she was alone at home and had dinner when a relative Dita Valvai and Valvai Pankaj came to her house with a stick.
They were accompanied by two other men Par Valvai and Raman Valvai.
All the men were related to her husband, Makhla, but not a close relative.
The attackers kicked Maki and beat him with a stick.
They then dragged him across the street and threw it in front of the Bhabhor family houses with whom Valvai’s family had a property dispute.
The four were accused that Maki was used to interact with several members of the Bhabhor family despite disputes.
Bhabhors objected to this, but the relatives did not listen to them.
Maki was taken home and then went to the hospital and then the police station by his son Suresh Valvai.
The Dahod Supervisor of Police (SP) Hitesh Joysar said that the defendant was held on Monday night itself.
“The woman has no serious injury.
Drive awareness of such incidents has been going on and will be intensified,” he said.
