Mysuru: A 45-year-old woman from Kalaale Village in Nanjangud, who was lost, was found dead in the bushes on the edge of the canal near the village.
His family members suspected that he was raped and killed and the police were investigating.
Sidamma, Nagaraj’s wife, reportedly lost from Kalale on January 16.
A day later, his body was found, police said.
Mrs.
Sidamma Naggamma told the police that her daughter was married to Nagaraj two and a half a while ago and the couple had no children.
His son-in-law works as a daily breadwinner seeker.
Sidamma lost on Sunday from her husband.
Even when the family began looking and asked about him, his death news came to the family on Monday.
Nagamma visited the place and identified the body.
Based on the situation in that place, his mother suspected his daughter might be raped and killed.
Rural Police Nanjangud awaits post-mortem reports to find out whether he was raped and the cause of his death.
