Women get sonographic promises of delivery date passing on Chandrapur GMCH

Written by news2in

Chandrapur: A seven-month pregnant woman was given a sonography date that had passed the date of delivery, at the Chandrapur Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) recently.
In learning about errors, the State Secretary of Congress Congress Namrata Themaska Acharya took the GMCH assignment for assignments and ensured Sonogprahy directly from a depressed woman.
“The letter was issued with a signature of the medical supervisor showed that the woman was given January 3 next year for Sonographic Ante Christmas Press (ANC).
How did the medical officers make such a mistake?” He said.
Acharya said the investigation among patients at GMCH revealed that such an error was common at the GMCH radiology department.
He claimed that there were three full-time radiologists in the GMC but only one present at a time, while private radiologists were employed by the hospital “functioning in an arbitrary way”.
He added that two radiologists from Mansoor Chini and Dr.
Navalkishor Rathi were rented by GMCH in the absence of full-time radiologists at the hospital.
However, Dr.
Chini, who is a call doctor, does not do ANC sonography at GMCH.
“Instead, the medical officer is present there giving a slip with a signature of the medical supervisor, with the coming date for free ANC sonography in his personal hospital,” Acharya was charged.
He alleged that another radiologist Dr.
Rathi was a full timer, but never came to the GMCH before 5 pm and “did not do ANC sonography” at all.
“Pregnancy is a complicated problem and ultrasound scan is the key to checking the condition of the baby in the uterus.
In such situations, how a pregnant woman can be given a date for sonography after four months,” he asked.
Acharya imposes that patients who are helpless to face difficulties in each step have no choice but to take advantage of expensive personal sonographic options, even though facilities are available at GMC.
The GMC Medical Supervisor Dr.
Sonarkar said there was a need for four radiologists at GMCH, but they only had one.
The other three are private practitioners rented by the hospital.
He added that regulations in pre-conception and pre-Christmas diagnostic techniques act do not allow registered radiology to perform Sonographic ANC in more than two places.
“Therefore, our on-call doctor, Chini did 8-10 sonography per day for GMCH in his personal hospital.
Because the number of CC sonographic patients in GMCH is much higher, they are given a future date according to the advanced quota,” Sonarkar said.
He further stated, “However, medical officers provide a slip for the date of ultrasound scanning, however, does not understand the patient’s medical situation and may have given the postage date post.”
