Shahjahanpur: A woman and lover was found dead with a bullet injury in Naugava Village here, police said on Friday.
Both, declared a relationship for the past six years, seems to have been shot dead, police said.
While the 22-year-old Bunty was found dead with a shoot injury on the second floor of his house on Friday morning, Ashish (25) was found dead with a bullet injury on the road outside the village, said Anand police supervisor.
Two cartridges also recover from the men’s bag, SP said.
SP said Ashish wanted Bunty but his family members were not ready for it because of the problem of “Gotra” because they both belonged to the same Thakur community.
The police have sent corpses for post-mortem examination and investigations to ascertain whether it is a murder case for honor.
