Navi Mumbai: Sarpanch 48-year-old woman from a village in Mahad Taluka from Raigad was found brutally killed; His naked body was thrown in the bush near the Beloshi village road at around 1:30 a.m.
on Monday.
Police Mahad Taluka has registered a murder case against unknown allegations under the part of the IPC 302 (murder) and 201 (causing the loss of violations).
On Monday, around 1:30 a.m., a local youth walked along the village road Beloshi saw Gunny’s bag lying on the side of the road.
When he was getting closer to checking, he found a naked woman lying hurt and did not move in the bushes.
He told the villagers and police summoned, said a police officer.
The police took the victim to the Regional Government Hospital, where he was declared dead.
The police are waiting for the post-mortem report to ascertain whether he was attacked by sex before being killed.
After confirmation of sexual violence, part of the IPC 376 (rape) will be summoned to the defendant, the officer said.
