Rajkot: The second largest Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra Gujarat held in Bhavnagar every year will be held on July 12.
Yogesh Nirgude District collector, “Rathyatra will be taken according to the guidelines issued by the state government.” According to its sources, the 36th Rath Yatra in Bhavnagar will be held under the same rule as determined for the same yatra in Ahmedabad.
Harubhai Gondaliya, Head of Rath Yatra Samiti said, “We have received oral confirmation from the government.
We will plan the event with the District Administration on Friday.” Yatra for 18 km starts from the Jagannath Lord Temple near Subhashnagar and passes several sensitive areas such as Khargate, Mama Kothha, Barton Library and Haluriya Chowk.
