Young women kill themselves; Husband, In-laws ordered

Rajkot: The Father of a 22-year-old woman who ended life by consuming poisons on October 3 in Bhavnagar, filed a complaint to commit suicide on her husband, brother-in-law, brother-in-law and others on Monday.
According to Suresh Solanki who complained, his daughter Vandana consumed poison due to harassment for his brother-in-law Vipul Vaghela, brother-in-law Jagu Vaghela, Uncle-in-law Mukesh Vaghela and Bibi Breakfast Vaghela.
Vandana and her husband Karan have escaped from their home about six months ago and then their families have agreed to their marriage.
However, after marriage, Vandana’s parents snapped on it.
When the Vandana family does not provide a prize or dowry at the time of marriage and will never visit him, in-laws of harassing him, Solanki stated in his complaint.
On September 21, Vandana had asked his relatives to ask his father to bring him back.
Solanki then talked with Vandana and asked him to deal with problems patiently.
Solanki then asked a Bharat Awaliya, who had mediated between the two families at the time of marriage, talking to his daughter-in-law.
Everything settled temporarily after the awaliya intervention.
But on October 3, Solanki received a call that Vandana had consumed poisons.
When Karan learned about his wife’s actions, he also consumed poison.
The couple was received at Sir T hospital in Bhavnagar where Vandana gave up during treatment.
When Solanki visited him at the hospital, he noticed that Vandana even tried to cut his wrist a few days before.
After completing his daughter’s last ritual, Solanki submitted a case at the BortalaV police station against Vandana’s husband and his in-laws on Monday.
