BHubaneswar: Aswini Kumar Panda topped the Odisha Civil Service Examination (OCSE) -2019, the results were stated by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on Friday.
A total of 153 candidates, including 56 women, cleared the final round.
Panda, a 29-year-old engineer from Chandikhole in Jajpur District, said he did not receive assistance from the training institution to solve OCSE.
“I never thought I would peak tests.
I was very happy to have achieved this achievement in my first attempt,” Panda said.
He said candidates should not only rely on the coaching institute.
“Because dependence on the coaching center can inhibit the talent of a candidate.
Prepare such prestigious examinations such as self-discovery.
Mandiri studies and self-evaluation can help candidates get more success in this test,” he added.
Panda had previously registered for the work of assistant officers.
“But I can’t get it because I’m 0.5 short of the selection mark,” said Panda who did his school from Jana Kalyan High School and plus II from Ravenshaw University.
The candidate for women won three places at Ocse’s Top 10.
Rashmirekha Patra, Ayushi Pati and Nivedita Nayak ranked 3, 9 and 10.
One of the 153 candidates belonging to disabilities with disability categories.
