Vadodara: A 19-year-old young man ended his life by jumping into the Mahi River near the Vasad on Friday.
The late Mahipatsinh Mahida, a resident of Savli Taluka, went to the bridge near Fazalpur and after parking his motorbike there, jumping from the bridge.
Official fires rushed to the place and immediately started the operation.
According to fire sources, it needs a four-hour firefighter for fishing.
Mahida’s parents, who also went to the place, said that they did not know why their son, a student engineering, took extreme steps.
The police said that they would question friends and their families to ensure the reason behind suicide.
