Rajkot: Statistics of a childhood and a little woman were discovered hanging out of a tree on the outskirts of Hasanpur village at Wankaner taluka of Morbi area Friday morning.
The deceased were identified as Sanjay Sarla (22) and Jyoti alias Janki Javadia (17), the two residents of Hasanpur village,” said authorities, adding the duo belonged to the identical community.
Police stated that Jyoti had been Class X student while Sanjay was able to function as an agricultural labourer in town.
According to authorities, Sanjay and Jyoti abandoned their respective houses on Thursday evening and didn’t return until Friday morning.
Some villagers discovered their bodies dangling with a tree Friday morning.
They advised the village sarpanch Hashmukh Makwana who subsequently called the authorities.
“Main probe implies that the Sanjay and Jyoti desired to have married but stressed their connection may not be appropriate for their family and so they took the radical measure,” explained an official in Wankaner taluka police station in Morbi.
