Ahmedabad: Second day in a row for the city to record zero new Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday because the country recorded 16 new cases in 24 hours.
With one more death in the Valsad District – fourth for the district in the last month of six recorded in all states – the number of deaths increased to 10,088.
New positive cases include 5 of Valsad, 4 from the city of Letters, 3 from the district letter, 2 of Navsari and the city of Vadodara.
Thus, 14 of 16 or 87% of cases come from three South Gujarat Regency.
Five patients were in the ventilator.
The state recorded vaccination of 2.75 lakh people including 2.21 lakh second dose.
Overall, Gujarat has recorded a 6.89 crore vaccine dose for the first and second dose.
