Rajkot: Zoo Rajkot and Mahatma Museum will remain open during Diwali vacation, said Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) in a statement.
Because the zoo and museum are two main attractions for visitors from outside the city and locals, the Civic body has decided to remain open during the holidays.
RMC expects 10,000 visitors every day at the zoo during the period.
According to RMC, the entrance ticket will be removed from 9am to 5:30 a.m.
at the zoo that holds 456 animals and birds from 57 species.
