19 government elementary schools at City will be closed

Prayagraj: Official recommends closing 19 government-managed elementary schools in the city because they do not have basic facilities needed according to the norms set.
Meanwhile, officials also recommend the construction of a new building for four other city primary schools managed by the government.
Located in the city limits, these schools do not have the right drinking water facilities, toilets and playgrounds.
Schools do not have their own buildings or buildings are in dilapidated and bad conditions, officials of the State Basic Education Department.
If it is closed, the students registered at this institution will shift to the elementary school managed by the nearest government.
These actions followed the government’s orders issued on December 24, 2020, say officials.
Acting on government orders, BSA Sanjay Kushwaha on December 31, 2020 has established a three member committee consisting of urban education block officers including Ramakant Singh, Suman Kesarwani and Jyoti Shukla and looking for proposals from them based on inspection of school places.
On June 29, 2021, committee members submitted their reports to BSA regarding 23 Prayagraj City Schools in, which were mostly from the owners who requested financial inability to ensure the facilities required.
The report recommends that 19 of these schools be closed and currently register 1108 students from these institutions are adjusted in other nearby schools.
Building / repairing the remaining buildings of four schools was also recommended, officials said BSA-Prayagraj Praveen Tiwari said, “a report on the school that runs in a rented building in the district urban area has been received and the same is now being examined.
This problem will now be taken With higher officials from the Department of Basic Education and the State Government “.
The elementary school managed by the Kota Sangam Government whose closure has been recommended by the three member panels including Kohna Nakhas Primary School, Karelabagh Village Girl School, Karelabagh Colony-I School, Rani Mandi Girls School, Minto Park- Kydanj, Meerpur-I School, Kareli Girls School , Munshi Ram Prasad Ki Kida Kids School, Kathar, Malaiviya Nagar, Old Lukerganj, Dairaabad, Gyasuddinpur, PD Tandon Marg, Mori-Daraganj, Bakshi Bazaar and Sarojini Naidu Marg School.
Schools for construction of new buildings have recommended include Kasari-Masari elementary schools, which have 81 students and elementary school top Naini-2 where 146 students only have five rooms in the school name.
Likewise, Shivkuti Elementary School has three rooms and 32 students while the Catc-Bamrauli Elementary School also has five rooms and 91 students.
