Vijayapura: The almel police registered another case with respect to the honor of the suspected honor, on Sunday.
In his complaint, the victim of Shashidhar Shankreppa Nimbaragi stated that his brother, Ravi Shankrepda Nimbaragi, 32, had fallen in love with a 24-year-old girl from a certain community for 4-5 years.
“Irked with their affair, the girl’s family member killed Ravi on Thursday night and raised his body well,” he said.
While the almel police stated that there was no arrest made in this case, HD police supervisor Anand Kumar said that two people had been arrested but their names could not be disclosed.
“We will not be able to share details until the investigation is complete,” he added.
Despite the fact that the complainants have named eight people as defendants, SP states that there is no further information that can be distributed today.
SP also clarified that the young man was killed by another family, so it was not an act of honor.
“If family members kill their own daughter or son, we can call it an honorary murder.
In this case, the girl’s family killed young people,” he said.
The case has been submitted under the IPC 143, 147, 302, 201, and 149 section.
