SWR produces ₹ 25 crore by transporting corn

Haveri: MySuru Division from South Western Railway is taking RS 25 Crore income for the current financial year, by transporting corn from the Haveri district, Davanagere, and Chitradurga.
The MySuru division business development unit has succeeded in convincing Corn traders Haveri, Ranibennur, Davangere, and Chitradurga, to transport their goods by train, through sustainable efforts.
As a result, 94 grid of corn occupants 0.2 million tons were transported on January 31.
These districts are the corn basket of mysuru division.
Because of several factors, corn from these districts is transported by road to various purposes in Tamil Nadu and North America.
A total of 2.3 lakh tons at 94 groans were transported, and RS 25 Crore’s revenue was produced on February 14.
According to sources, Rs 7.77 Crore Parcel income for the current year until January 2022, is the highest parcel income of the MySuru division.

7.76 Crore, for a full year, for 2018-19.
The division has transported 22,000 two-wheeled from Kadakola, during the financial year until January 2022.
This results in the collecting income of Rs 3.78 Crore under the head of the head, which is the highest over the past five years.

Manjunath Kanamadi, Commercial Manager of the Senior Division and Pro Senior Division Mysuru, stated that two rules of export traffic to Bangladesh had been ordered from Haveri so far, and there were 39 more demands for raku, as it is now.
However, because the terminal restriction is enforced at the destination station, currently, only one sweep is permitted per month, to export traffic to Bangladesh.

He stated that the total shipping revenue until January 2022 was Rs 569 Crore, with 7.39 million tons transported.
Revenue was 65.72% more than last year, and tonnage was 38.57%.
The total RS 568.72 Crore in shipping income is the highest collection of shipping revenue for divisions.
The best before was Rs 519.52 Crore, for the full year of 2019-20.
“This is the highest loading of corn from mysuru division for the past five years,” he said.
