3 ODI: England Tom Curran limits Sri Lanka before washing

Bristol: Measuring Tom Curran took four middle to England Bowled Sri Lanka out for 166 in the third year international before the match was abandoned due to rain in Bristol on Sunday.
Washing means that the host won the 2-0 series.
Scorecardswhile Sam Curran won five nuts to disable England’s victory at the oval three days ago, it was his brother, Tom finished with 4-35 because the tourists were bundled with 53 balls left in their round.
Sri Lanka once again failed to make a strong start with bats when the captain of the Perrera and a fellow appetizer of Avishka Fernando was removed by a new ball attack Chris Woakes and David Willey in the opening of six overs.
The Pathum Nissanka served on the fold was also short-lived when he was caught behind Willey, while Dhananjaya de Silva cut the Woakes bouncer directly to the deep feet inside.
The tourists staggered 50-4 when Tom was taken to the attack and he wasted time to remove Oshada Fernando to his first Odi goal since March.
Wanindu Hasaranga was next to playing a rash shot, holing to a short ball for the third time in the series to give Tom goal both.
The All-Rounder Dasun Shanaka and Chamika Karunaratne adopted a careful approach to add 29 runs to the seventh goal, before Tom returned with his trick bag in a cloudy condition.
Surrey Bowler uses random stitches to force the advantage of Karunaratne’s bat, which brilliantly captured by Jonny Bairstow diving to the right.
Tom then released Binura Fernando for his fourth scalp to close the solid screen.
Shanaka was unbeaten at 48 but was running out of partners because Asitha Fernando run out of Billings Sam on the 42nd before it rained.
