Dhaka: Captain Bangladesh Mahmuditlah guided his team to their first series victory over Australia on Friday, pushing a thrilling 10-run victory in the third international twenty20.
After the 3-0 lead which could not be denied in the five-match series in Dhaka, the Bangladeshi Young team fell to their hands with no trust on their biggest night on Cricket.
Before this week, Bangladesh had never even beat Australia in T20.
It was their first series victory over their opponents who were praised in any format.

While Mitchell Marsh, who made 51, and Ben McDermott (35) threatened to see Australia towards a victory at the empty stadium, Bowler Bangladesh again strangled the score in the final over.
The left arm of Pace Bowler Mustafizur Rahman only gave nine from Run from his fourth.
Australia only produced 117 for four people, losing 10 runs, with the frustration of their captain Matthew Wade.
Even a hat-trick by Young Bowler Nathan Ellis on his debut could not lift their side and gloom.
“Very disappointing,” was a match verdict and Wade series who followed their defeat in the T20 series in West Indies last month.
While they were without Steve Smith, David Warner and Pat Cummins still had worries in the Australian camp.
“We want to fix a number of things,” Wade admitted.
Mahmuditlah won a throw and surprisingly chose to bat after the beginning was postponed for more than 90 minutes with rain.
He was his team’s top scorer with his patient 53 ball innings, but also the first scalp for Ellis who came to give a quick Bowler Mitchell Starc and made a sign on the last three balls.
When Bangladesh went for a big hit, Mustafizur was then arrested by Marsh and Mahedi Hasan was arrested by Ashton to Deep Square.
In response, Marsh and McDermott wore 63 for the third goal but then Wicket Dhaka was slow to take the victim.
Walking became impossible to find because they were in the first two matches won by Bangladesh by 35 Run and five Wickets.
The Bangladeshi players danced across the field in the celebration in their new impulse to their international position in the World Cup Twenty20.
They have now won seven international T20 international and the night’s victory was even more impressive because it was the lowest total they have ever maintained to win.
Mahmtitlah said the party had been sitting for serious talks after the latest series they won in Zimbabwe.
“We feel that we are a good team even though the ranking does not show it,” he said.
Bangladesh is currently ranked 10th by the International Cricket Council.
“We only have to play with a big heart and a balanced mind and show our expertise,” he said about the prospect of the country at the World Cup, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates in October-November.
