Hubballi: Thirty-seven people’s and classical dancers from Karnataka will appear on the Republican Day in Delhi.
Channapatna Gombe, Kangilu and Bharatnatyam will be attractions.
Three Teams – Udupi Feets from Udupi District, Natyeshwara Nruthya Shala from Bengaluru and Mayoor Nrutya Academy from Hubballi – have been selected for the show.

The team was selected after competing at four levels, each of which consisted of more than 10 members.
The team will be among 480 dancers from all over the country during the Republican Day.
The team has reached Delhi and is now busy with performance in Janpath.
Varun Koyan, a team member from Udupi Feets, said this is a great opportunity to present a traditional dance form in Delhi.
“From the Udupi district, 14 members have come, 14 members, 14 members, from nine girls and five are boys.
We will do a form of kangilu dance,” Koyan said.
Sandhya, who was a member of the team from Bengaluru, said his team 13 had all the girls.
“We did Gombe Channapatna, who was trained by Kaaguru KP Satish Babu and his wife Vani Satish Babu.
In Delhi, all settings have been carried out and the time slots are given to practice.
