4 arrested for attacking PRV in Pratapgarh

Prayagraj: Four people were arrested by the police in the neighboring Pratapgarh district on Thursday for allegedly attacking PRV personnel (vehicle police response) when a police team went to solve the land dispute in Kakriya Village on July 4 below the Nawabganj police station limit.

The people arrested were identified as Ram Vishal and his two sons – Rohit Saroj and Ravi Saroj – together with Dilip Saroj, all the residents of Kanderuwa Village.
Police have also searched for three more people who were also involved in attacking the police party.
Pratapgarh police said that a group of unknown people had attacked the police party (the police recorded 112 PRV) in Kakriya-Kanderuwa Village when they went to resolve the problem related to land disputes.
After the incident, the case under Section 147, 323, 504, 506, 332, and 353 IPC and 7 Cla were registered against seven people and other unknown people because they attacked the police party.
