Dharwad: The stage has been set for free and fair polls with compliance with the Covid protocol at Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation on Friday.
Administration has established 842 polling booths to choose candidates from 82 wards.
A total of 8,17,458 people included 4,06,280 men, 4,11,092 women and 86 others were eligible to vote within the corporate limits.
A total of 420 candidates, including 122 were independent, competing for 82 seats in the Civic body.
Polls will be made from 7am to 6pm on Friday and voting, if necessary, will be in September 5.
