LONDON: Karnataka Speedster Prasidh Krishna, who has been on standby with the Indian team for the past three months, on Wednesday added to the main squad ahead of the fourth test in the UK.
The decision is an indication that the prasidh can be in line with the first XI call either in the oval or in Manchester with the management of the team who wants to monitor the management of the workload of Jasprit Bumrah, Siraj Mohammed and Shami.
“All-India Senior Election Committee – Based on the request of team management – has added a quick Bowler Prasidh Krishna to the Indian team for the fourth test,” BCCI Secretary Jay Shah stated in the release.
The 25-year-old player only played nine first-class matches with 34 goals in his kitty and earlier this year played three ODI matches at home against the same opposition, took six goals.
