Beleagavi: Around 20 districts in Karnataka are one of the top 50 in this country to implement an ambitious ESANJEEVANI scheme, under the National Telemedicine Service (NTS) of the Trade Government.
The state is in second place after Andhra Pradesh.
Apart from the lack of internet penetration, this initiative has now completed a 1 crore consultation throughout the country, which nearly 20 lakh comes from Karnataka.
Interestingly, some regencies of retreat in the north-Karnataka also lead, showing special field jobs carried out by the district health department.
When the OPD is closed during locking, more people start using this service and now continue the same thing for risk-free consultation.
According to data distributed by the Ministry of Health and the Union family, Ballari has recorded the highest involvement registering 1,34,967 consultations which are also higher than the Bengaluru of urban districts.
It ranks 13 in this country.
NTS consists of two Esanjeevani variants, namely the Telemedicine Doctor to Doctor (ESIJEEVANI AB-HWC) which is based on the hub and speaking model and the patient to the Telemedicine Platform (ESIJEEVANIOPD) doctor who provides outpatient services to citizens within their laws.
The first was introduced in 2019 and the latter was in April 2020.
In the state, according to the ministry, the number surged dramatically during and posting Lockdown.
While Ballari was in 13th place in the country, Chikkamagaluru was in 15th place after recording 1,26,540 consultations.
Patients and doctors are involved in audio and video mode.
Beleagavi, Hassan and Dharwad have secured positions 18, 19 and 21 and Bengaluru Urban have settled for the 22nd position.
Bidar, MySuru, Shivamogga, Yadgir, Vijayapura, Bagalkot, Kalaburagi, Haveri, Koppal, Bengalore Rural, Chamarajanagar, Tumkur and Kolar also include a leading district.
The percentage of women involving facilities was 56.17% and men lagged behind 43% in this country.
Speaking to Toi, Ballari District Health Officer H L Janardhana said the district rose again after being lagging in 29th place in the state.
The health department then began to provide targets to public health officials, district health officials, junior health workers and Aasha workers because the district took steps.
Asha workers, who visited households, helped the public download the application and educate them on booking consultations.

Indumen Patil said several government programs including mass vaccination have helped target more people to participate in this program.
This district has established a hub at the Taluk level and e-Hospital manager reminds all stakeholders about the target every day.
The Esanjeevani platform is available for the public in 701 districts.
