BELAGAVI: While authorities have fired a FIR after instructions in MG Hiremath, district deputy commissioner, against individuals who performed bulk homas throughout the town recently, officials at Belagavi City Corporation (BCC) have refused to mention BJP MLA Abhay Patiland also the principal organiser.
Patil, on May 24, kicked-off that a homa driveway in 50 areas at the Hosur place in an effort to stop the spread of Covid-19.
Patil had stated he’d keep on holding homas until June 15 over Belagavi South constituency.
A large amount of individuals hailing from several youth and women organisations sporting masks and sporting encounter guards participate at the homas.
Individuals were observed pouring ghee, neemrice and other components on altars on wheels.
Patil had stated,”At Sanatana Hindu Dharma, homas along with havanas has scientific investigation.
” However, the FIR filed by Shahapur authorities under divisions of the Disaster Management Act and Karnataka Epidemic Act, titles four individuals but maybe not Patil.
The complaint was registered by Shivanand Bosle, a BCC healthcare inspector.
Asked why Patil’s title has been researched, Jagadish KH, BCC commissioner, said that the health division”termed those responsible”.
Hiremath stated the corporation might have found it proper to submit a complaint just against those four.
He confessed Patil didn’t have consent to run the homas.
