Vijayanagara: The newly created Vijayanagar district, carved from Ballari Regency, will be officially launched on October 2 on the opportunity to commemorate the 152-year anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Anand Singh tourism minister, who was among those who led the campaign for BiFurkasi Ballari organized a two-day Grand Fete to mark the opportunity, which will be attended by the Chairman of the Bukavaraj Bommai Minister, former CM BS Yediyurappa and other ministers.
Preparation for the event, to be held at Hosapete Municipal Ground, is likely to start from Saturday.
The authorities have decided to establish a large platform for the event, even though there is a fear of pandemic playing spoilsport.
Singh, meanwhile, has held a series of meetings with officials to ensure the event was successful.
“The official recognition of Vijayanagara Regency will be celebrated on a large scale, and it will be recorded in history history.
This will be another chapter for noble history from the Vijayanagara Empire.
Aspects of all six taluks which are new districts will be celebrated as part of the event.
Most importantly, the event will focus on the glory of the Vijayanagara Empire.
Dais will be arranged to represent Halcyon Dynasty Day, “Singh said.
Recognizing the need to follow the Covid-19 protocol during infidelity, the minister, however, showed that the creation of new districts marked the fulfillment of the local residents’ nightmare.
“The big question now is whether it will allow people to participate in the event or not.
We will install a giant LED screen in prominent places such as rotating circles near the bus where people can watch the program directly,” Singh added.
CM Bommai will officially reveal the district, minister of tourism.
“CM will also be in a job on various development projects.
The renovation of the old TSP building has been running, such as work on the construction of the office of the deputy commissioner.
ESI Hospital near Kariganur will be built, and the office for police supervisors will also be established in Hosapete,” Add Singh.
