Rohit and hardik recovered very well: boult

Abu Dhabi: Mumbai Indian Pacer Trent Boult is not sure if Skipper Rohit Sharma and All-Rounder Hardik Pandya will display in the next IPL game on Thursday but say both recover well.
Kieron Pollard West Indies has led Chennai Super Kings with the absence of Rohit, who has an ingenious knee while pandya also skens the game because of Niggle.
“They both recovered very well.
In the case of their choice for the next match, I am not too sure what happened there.
But day after day, they improved,” said Boult during a virtual press conference at night.
Their game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
“They were clearly two vital players at XI for Mumbai.
And we are desperate to get it back.
So, the fingers cross that they will be good enough to go for the next few matches,” added Pacer New Zealand.
Boult said Rohit was “very missed” in the match against CSK but defended the team’s management’s decision to rest the star opening.
“He is right there in terms of experience and walking achieved in this format.
So, it is a big hole but it is a good decision to ensure he is 100 percent with the number of upcoming cricket.” If he comes to eleven, it will be brilliant, but we want to make sure he is 100 percent fit, “said the defending champions have a better record against the KKR in the league rich in cash but the boent believes that history does not matter in this format..” It’s more about starting again, every match is a big game, every match is important now.
History is history, happy to have previous results against them, but they are a quality side and we will not consider mild, “said Pacer left arm.
Boult, 32, also felt that competing in the IPL was a good preparation in front of the T20 World Cup, which will be held in UAE and Oman in October-November.
“You may not be able to have a better buildup for tournaments such as the T20 World Cup.
The focus is on what happens for the next few weeks, but in terms of preparation, it’s very good.
“Conditions can change quite quickly but have to deal with heat and moisture is a big challenge at this stage.
It would be interesting to see how the conditions move for the next few weeks,” signed a sign.
