Prayagraj: The authority of the University of Allahabad on Thursday held an important meeting of the examination committee that decided to cancel the offline test even semester (2, 4, 6, 8) and promote students in the next semester based on their semester of internal assessment signs.
The AU authority said that students will be promoted to a higher semester and their class will begin after vacation Diwali in hybrid mode (online / offline).
The class will continue in offline mode from December 17 below the Covid-19 protocol.
It was also decided that annual examination would be held after the second week of March in offline mode with strict compliance with Covid-19 guidelines.
It was also reported that several groups of students on Thursday held a demonstration at the inspection control office against the holding of the examination semester of November 23 and so on.
Student leaders accused the previous inspection controller had been written earlier to all Deans and Head of Department and the Principal of Universities Constituent to conduct semester examinations in offline mode.
When students learned about the decision, they gathered at the Union Hall on Thursday and held a demonstration.
