Hubballi: The music fountain that is widely awaited in Mahatma Gandhi Park here will soon be opened to the public.
Mg Park is the only one in the heart of Hubballi for people to go for sightseeing during weekends and holidays.
Under Smart City Projects, Music Fountains are developed here at a cost of almost Rs 4.5 Crore.
Facilities for LED laser shows and 3D audio video shows with water screen have been made and the fountains have been developed with 18 formations.
Seating arrangements for more than 300 people are made in Amphitheater.
Hubballi Dharwad Smart City Limited Managing Director CW Shakeel Ahemad said, “The music fountain is ready, and we plan to formalize it before the end of October.
The small job is finished.” “For five years, operations and maintenance will be taken care of by the contractor.
It has not been decided if the fountain will be displayed every day or two or three times a week,” he added.
Music fountains will be the first to be installed in public places.
A famous college has installed a fountain in its place, but no longer works.
Commissioner HDMC Suresh Itnal said that to ensure the smooth functioning and maintenance of the garden and others developed under the City City project, it has been decided to register people involving all selected representatives and prominent people from other fields.
“Once society is formed, its members will make decisions on how to use fountains, enter and other costs,” he added.
“Over the past few years, we have heard that the fountains will appear in Mg Park and it has not been completed.
The authorities must take all the works in the park to the war footing and ensure the fountains began to function from November.
