New Delhi: India Captain Virat Kohli On Wednesday Thanking Chief Coach Out of Team Ravi Shastri and other members of support staff, whose term ended at the T20 World Cup, praising them for their contribution to prepare tough clothes.
While India failed to qualify for the T20 World Cup Semifinals in UAE, Shastri-Kohli Duo along with Bowling coach Bharat Arun and Agile coach R Sridhar was part of a set-up that won two series tests in Australia.
The 2-1 lead side in the five test series in the UK is expected to be completed next year.
Shastri’s departure and co marked the end of an era in Indian cricket.
“Thank you for all our amazing memories and trips already as a team with all of you.
Your contribution has been big and will always be remembered in the history of Indian cricket,” Kohli, has given up the captain’s T20, wrote on his Twitter page in praise from the coach’s staff.
“Hope the best to move forward in life.
To the next time,” he said.
Of the November 17 Rohit Sharma will be the new T20 captain of India with Rahul Dravid on duty as head coach.
It is hoped that Rohit will take control of the Captain’s ODI and during a tour of South Africa.
