Gorakhpur: 2 health workers were reserved in Basti for packaging an RT-PCR kit without even collecting the sample by an older man at Manjharia main health centre (PHC) of Mahripur village of this district Monday.
Since the movie of this episode afterwards went viral about social networking, the district government ordered a study into the incident and suspended among their health workers.
Reports stated that the viral movie indicates a health employee filling the kind of the older person, who’d come in the PHC to get Covid-19 evaluation, while some other health employee packaging the RT-PCR kit without even breaking up the sample.
Both health employees in the movie were later identified as laboratory tech Nitesh Kumar and wardboy Mohad Hassan, equally submitted in Manjharia PHC of Mahripur village and have been on duty Monday.
Considering the video to cognizance, district magistrate Saumya Agarwal on Wednesday stated,”I’ve arranged a probe into the episode and also the chief medical officer of Basti has blasted wardboy Mohd Hassan.” Added principal health officer (ACMO) Dr Fakhreyar Hussain explained,”The DM has taught that the medical staff in-charge (MOIC) Manjharia Dr Vivek Vishwas to commence legal actions into the situation.” An FIR was lodged against Kumar and Hassan on Tuesday night in Nagar police station under section 188 (disobedience to purchase promulgated by a public servant) of both IPC and part of this Epidemic Diseases Act, authorities said.
CMO Dr Anuj Kumarhas frozen the wardboy and also wrote a letter to the District Urban Development Agency (DUDA) to terminate the contract from the laboratory tech Nitesh Kumar.
