Melbourne: The Sheffield Shield match between Victoria and New South Wales has been postponed after the possibility of the Covid-19 case involving Victoria All-Rounder will be Sutherland.
Sutherland, the son of the former Australian Cricket boss who served Lama James Sutherland, has “returned test results that require further analysis”, said Cricket Australia, causing the organizer to postpone starting the match at Ground Cricket Sydney on Friday.
Victoria isolated while further tests are being carried out, Cricket Australia added in a statement.
The council said the match could begin on Saturday or later it depends on the test results.
